FLAC Player Pro App Reviews

Crap

Dont waste your money if you have an iPhone . Directory shows files but wont play them!!!

Crap.

Glitchy crap. Uploading of files over WiFi is a real pain, constant fighting with fails after every 1-2 uploaded files. I tried to upload ~500 files, gave it up after 30 min of painful fighting, restarting its server after each 1-2 files... Crap.

Amazing app. Great sound!

There is a noticeable difference in the clarity of sound. I would recommend this app. Just a couple of tweaks are needed, such as crossfading.

perfect but

needs an Equalizer

Decent but...

Interface feels a bit clunky. And yes, it drains battery.

Flac

Absolutely great if you need equaliser get better headphones

Getting there…..

The audio this player puts out sounds gorgeous. Its probably the best Ive heard from all App Store FLAC programs - it does wonders for 24/96 files despite the limitations of the hardware playing them (I suspect that has something to do with the battery drain thats already been noted). It does have a couple shortcomings, though a few of them I feel are tied to lack of documentation and support. * Folders: I can create folders but cant seem to move anything into them - would be useful when adding tracks since the list on mine gets very long and I just about go bug-eyed creating mixes. Forgive me if I missed it, but it just doesnt seem that obvious. * Artists: This program doesnt seem to recognize artists, just tracks by artists - theres no "sort by artist" or "sort by album" or even a directory the files can automatically be sorted into when uploading beyond alpha or numeric, depending on the file name. * Finally, there is really no "FLAC Player Pro Support". Ive clicked the "support" link a couple times and found a minimal website with links to another app that plays MP3s but nothing for this app. Its a dead end. Finally, a plea: do. not. add. an. equalizer. If it sounds this good, you probably dont want to play with one. As someone else noted, if you need one, better headphones are probably the solution. Thanks - despite the notes Im actually enjoying this app immensely. A couple tweaks and more obvious support and youll have the best money can buy.

Simple and effective

The only way to get files into the app is to get them off of your pc, but doing so is wireless and very simple. Worth the money.

Nice. Thanks

Works great.

Works good, but...

The app has great sound, but needs seamless playback and should be able to read and display the file tags (track name). I would give 5 stars if not for this.

Good but need improvement

Being able to organize music in folders and play folders is a big plus. The lack of gapless playback Is a major flaw and need to be added.

Need full update!

Why sound in yours app in mono?

Good job

The functionality is awesome. Wifi transfers is perfect. If youre new to lossless audio be forewarned, once you FLAC you never go back.

Doesnt Work!

Doesnt work on my iphone 6!

A superb "meat & potatoes" Flac player!

I needed a file player that would upload via wifi and would work on my older iPod (pre 7.) This app is sleek, elegant, and above all easy and ergonomic.
